Hilo Bayfront Kava Bar owner Dave Stevenson introduces "the Chief" a piece of driftwood that embodying an old chief of ancient Hawai'i. Dave and some braddahs rescued the Chief from the storm that washed him ashore and gave him a place of honor. Now he is keeping an eye on the place while lookin' out to where King Kamehameha used to surf in Hilo Bay.
